Dictionaries built from two fan-made language guides. The Inkling Language Guide is the creation of Piyoz Rmnkolmz and Splatoon fans at Squidboards.com, with contributions from JosephStaleKnight (vector images), EclipseMT, the Fizzynator, piboy430, SyMag, Vylion (font), Ikaheishi, Jonathx, MissingNumbers, eli, RadioactiveMoth, Rizz, OctagonalKahn and the other contributors on the Squidboards forums.
The Octolese Language Guide was created by Piyoz (lead designer) with Olkris (Alexandre Balea), twistedApparition, Clen4ever, Haley Halcyon, Spikey Boi, Chairmitch, Cocowo (font, ligatures), Dibujugador (font v3) and ColdGalaxy (ligatures v3). The Octoling script font and the Splatoon display font shown on this site were extracted directly from the Octolese guide PDF.
The Inkling script font is Inkling v2.0 by eli (frozenpandaman), built from characters appearing in-game, with glyphs from vectorfriend and JapanYoshi's Project Paintball. Used non-commercially with credit.
Splatoon is the property of Nintendo. this is a non-commercial fan project. Translations between real-world languages use Google Translate's public endpoint (with MyMemory as a fallback).
